What is Mediation for Separation & Divorce
At Browne and Co Mediation recognise that Separation and Divorce can be a stressful and difficult time for couples and their children. Our services offer the most efficient and cost effective way to separate in Ireland today. Mediation is recognised in Law with the Mediation Act 2017. At Browne and Co Mediation we offer Legally binding Separation Agreements to couples opting to create their terms through Mediation. Couples typically use there terms of Separation to file for a divorce when the time allows, and should they wish to do so.
We work with parties to determine Agreements in the best interest of the children and themselves.
We believe that mediation is the best possible solution to divorce and seperation.
How it works
Both clients must meet with their mediator separately to begin with. When both clients have met with the mediator, they can if suitable arrange for a joint
meeting. Should for any reason joint meetings not be suitable, the mediator will continue to meet with couples on an individual basis.
Fully financial disclosure is required in mediation, the process of Mediation can take from three to six sessions typically. (This can vary from couple to couple)
